    I agree 100% with what you said here. What you said about how dreamy tall men are, yes you are 100% correct.

  1. Sorry for the confusion, Dialing for Dollars isn’t a movie or a series. It was a franchised format show – pre-rolled games & quizzes presented by local hosts during commercial breaks in whatever film they were showing that day. It was on after I got home from school, so I got to see stuff like Truffaut’s Fahrenheit 451, Karloff in Die Monster Die, and Michael Caine in Billion Dollar Brain. All without any critique or context, so they all went into my brain’s movie library as equals. (Dialing for Dollars Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dialing_for_Dollars )

    1. Darn! I had been envisioning a crime film set in 1970’s Detroit, involving perhaps Joe Don Baker and a briefcase full of money.
