I saw “The 39 Steps” and “The Lady Vanishes” when I was barely into my teens. I remember enjoying them, but I don’t remember much about them… I should refresh my memory, by the sound of it.
As for “Rebecca,” it sounds like the folks who did the wonderfully-MST3k’d film “The Screaming Skull” owe Hitchcock a debt. Also, possibly, a sincere apology. 🙂
