  1. To me, James Horner will always be “the guy who did the Star Trek II theme.” Yes okay he did a lot more than that, but seriously, as many times as I watched that movie, in a weird sort of way that is “my” Star Trek theme track.

    “Something Wicked”: I don’t do scary movies, and yet somehow when I was a kid I saw that one in the town theater, way back in Brewster, Washington. It’s a marvelous film… that even now I’d have a hard time re-watching. Go figure.

    You know what makes a weird double-feature? “The Black Hole” and “Silent Running.” They had a particular style of robot design for a while there, didn’t they?
