Autumn is, indeed, the best of the seasons. The heat fades away, the cocoa mugs come out, and we’re not yet into the long slog of wet-and-dreary. (We used to get icy-and-dreary but… climate change! Jazz hands!) Also, kicking piles of fallen leaves never gets old.

Fes found a vaporwave video on YouTube that is just 40-year-old video of The Weather Channel, and the Minneapolis forecast on January 19th of whatever year it was read -26 degrees as the low. And I had a moment of nostalgia for The Week In January where it always got stupid cold in Minneapolis, every year.
That hasn’t happened in recent years, and it makes me sad.
Then I kicked myself for missing The January Death Week and got on with enjoying today’s weather.
