Episode 81: There’s a Lake in the Way

0081 MinnesotaDear listeners, with Windy moving to Texas and all, we’re getting our pre-nostalgia on with an episode all about Minnesota movies! That’s right… we spend about half the time telling stories, and the other half talking about the likes of Prince, Diablo Cody, and the Coen brothers.

If you would like to drink along, we found a lot of joy in the bottom of a bottle of Cantele Primitivo. Perhaps you will, too!

  1. Ah, the Grump* Old Men movies, part of that run of enforced comedy viewing back when I was married. They’re not terrible, and occasionally they’re quite funny, but I couldn’t name a specific bit from either one of them after all these years.

Jingle All The Way: Don’t do it. Just, no. It’s about as formulaic a “holiday” “comedy” as you could ever “hope” to “get to” see.

Gamera is really neat! Gamera’s made of turtle meat! We all love you, Gameraaaa!
