Murderbot! They’re so good. SecUnit is also a fascinating object lesson in how to write an unreliable narrator. The occasional disconnect between what they *say* they’re feeling about an event and their *actual actions* is… telling, in a way that SecUnit would find *intensely* embarrassing (so we won’t mention it, okay?). Also, Mensah and her people are superb, and ART is the best (when it’s not being an overbearing authority figure or whatever).
There’s also a running thread, especially in the later installments, of Murderbot making choices about the governor module hack that are highly altruistic but they dance around the fact that they’re making those choices because it’s actually the right thing to do, and that’s fascinating.
