Episode 71: Live Chicken Melee Weapon

0071 Marathon 2Oh my, dear listeners, it’s time for our second XanaCineWeekend Movie Marathon! For this episode, Windy and Melissa ensconced themselves for an entire weekend, trading off watching movies that one or both of them had never seen before. This episode compiles their thoughts and comments about fifteen films, with each segment recorded immediately after the completion of each film.

If you would like to drink along, dears, grab the vodka. (It was a long weekend.)

(And it’s a long episode.)

(I mean, seriously, it’s a long episode. Buckle up, kids!)

Jozeph Sabovcik, the “guy on ice” that Windy was talking about:

  1. Richard E. Grant DID play Sir Percy Blakeney! BBC did a television series (two seasons, three episodes each) in 1999/2000 with him in the lead. It’s kind of hard to find, though.

    1. I have the DVDs, and while I don’t think the last installment turned out all that well, the first is a hoot and Richard E Grant is every bit as much of a hoot to watch throughout the series as Sir Percy as you’d expect.

(Of course, when it first ran, I still had a huge crush on Elizabeth McGovern…)
