Episode 119c: The Return of the Eclectic Mayhem: Part 3

Fantastic Fest 2016Good morning, dear listeners! Here’s your daily dose of Fantastic Fest 2016!

In this episode, we’re trying out the new portable microphone, so we recorded between movies from within the festival itself. You will hear a lot of ambient sounds, rambling, and interruptions, just like if you were actually there with us! You will also hear a slight crackle at a few spots, which seems to be the microphone picking up interference from the iPhone it was using; we’ll know to watch out for that in the future.

Special thanks to everyone who contributed their sonorous voices to this episode!

Episode 1: WTFW?

Xanadu Sq LogoWelcome to our inaugural podcast! Please join us in our love of movies.

If you care to drink along with us, this week’s wine is a Malbec from Barefoot Wines.

Please excuse our audio problems. The static was only discovered after we recorded the podcast. (Apparently, Snowball microphones do not agree with Audacity.) We did what we could to rescue the audio. We promise that we’ve fixed this entirely for future recording sessions.

And no, we never do manage to explain in the episode why we named the podcast Xanadu Cinema Pleasure Dome. How about you posit a theory and e-mail it to us? pleasuredome@xanaducinema.com

Show notes behind the cut!
